Haven Knight is an award-winning architect based in Washington DC. With over 25 years of experience, Haven practices at a wide range of scales and typologies and has worked with award-winning architectural practices in New York, Seattle and Seoul. Haven received a Bachelors degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Princeton University in 1996 and a Master of Architecture degree with distinction from Yale University in 2002. In addition to being a practicing architect, Haven has held full-time and part-time professorships since 2007. He was a visiting professor at the University of Seoul from 2007 – 2008 and an assistant professor at Yonsei University from 2008 – 2012, and Hanyang University from 2014 – 2019. Haven is an NCARB-certified architect and holds licensure in the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington State. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the Korean Institute of Architects (KIA).
